I prepare grant applications for youth-focused non-profit organizations, schools, and school districts, so that you have the funds you need to help under-served populations and at-risk youth thrive.

I became a grant writer because I wanted to help people find the resources they need to do the work they love. After working in the non-profit sector for close to 20 years, I bring to each assignment a high level of expertise, familiarity, and urgency regarding the importance of your work and needs of those you serve. My intimate knowledge of the non-profit sector stems from my personal experiences as a classroom teacher in urban settings, a school administrator, an after-school director, an executive director and a development director of non-profits where I worked on behalf of at-risk youth.

I found that the greatest use of my experience, the biggest difference I can make, is to bring my skills and expertise to the crucial function of fundraising.
